Nicolas is doing a lot of fun things right now...he is getting up on all fours with his head up and rocking back and forth in that position, we may have an early crawler on our hands:) He is eating rice cereal, oatmeal, carrots, green beans, sweet peas, and squash. He likes them all and they make for some nasty diapers!!! Nicolas has spent the night with my parents once and they babysat him many times for us. He loves watching people, including Jake and Packer (Jake especially because he can get in his face:) He is a big smile bug and
cuddle bug. He loves playing in his
exersaucer and is a master roller, getting from one side of the room to the other to get a toy! He is really starting to like story time when I use different voices...we absolutely love watching him change!
I have been on spring break all week and Tim had a couple of days off. We did some things around the house, and had a lot of play time. Nicolas, my mom, and I went to Stockton on Wednesday and saw everyone there. We also went to see my cousin
Mindi, and her kids, Sam, Ben and Ella (who are twins 5 days older than Nicolas) and Aunt Liz. It was a good visit and they all had a good time! Friday
Jaden, Beth, and Avery came for a visit. We had dinner together Friday night and we planned to go to the zoo on Saturday...we just assumed that the zoo was going to be open when we went at 3:00, but when we called on our way (don't ask why we didn't think of it beforehand) the recording said they close at 4:00, so we went shopping and to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. They will come up sometime in May to go to the zoo!
Other than that, I go back to school tomorrow, and the kids come back on Tuesday. I am starting my Masters of Education at Baker University in Overland Park this week. I will be taking one class for the next 6 weeks and then will take four over the summer and hopefully be done by the end of the summer next year! We will go to Ark City this
weekend to celebrate Bob and Beth's birthdays and get his 6 month pictures taken!

very cute pictures--that's my favorite one too! he will be crawling soon. i'm looking forward to seeing which foods are ella and ben's favorites, too--i think ben will like everything, but ella will be lukewarm, i bet.
I enjoyed seeing all the pics! He is getting so big. Looks like he is full of spunk and personality. Hope we see you sometime soon.
