A lot has been happening!!!

Ok, my last post was March 22...a lot has been happening!!! One thing I have realized is that I am not good at keeping up with a blog. I should have known, I was never good at keeping a journal so what made me think I would be good at writing regularly on a blog (seeing as how it is pretty much the same thing)?!? Maybe it will be better over the summer...

Here is the timeline of the last 2 months!

*By the end of March Nicolas was starting to eat fruit, was sitting on his own, and was up on all 4s ready to move!
*April 10th-spent the night with Bebe and Grandpa, we went to dinner and cleaned the house...fun:)
*April 11th-started army crawling
*April 13th-responds to name
*April 18th-CRAWLING @ 6 1/2 months!!!
*April 29th-went from crawling to a sitting position
*End of April, beginning of May-pulls up to a standing position with our hands
*May 6th-pulled up to knees on the ottoman
*May 7th-went to the doctor and have an ear infection, took amoxacillin (sp?) for 2 weeks (all better now)!
*May 9th-stayed with Bebe and Grandpa, we had a real date night...dinner and a movie!!!
*May 11th-drank from a sippie cup (which he now does on a regular basis, bottles too). Eats 3 times a day
*May 12th-had first meat, turkey...like it!
*May 13th-cut his first 2 teeth!!! both on the bottom
*May 16th-went to AC for a visit and family pics
*May 18th-pulled up on the gate at daycare!
*May 19th-Nicolas has been swaddled every night since the day he was born (which we highly recommend). He was sporadically getting out of the swaddle in the mornings, but when we put him to bed this night he would flop himself over on his tummy like a fish and cry. We dreaded letting him sleep without his swaddle, but he has slept great and is on his tummy almost every night!!!
*May 22-waved bye to Daddy
*May 23-Went to Stockton/Jerico to see a lot of family! We visited all of the cemeteries in town to put flowers on grave sites for Memorial Day. It was a nice weekend!

And the big one...tonight Nicolas climbed the staircase with no help!!! He had pulled up to the stairs and got one knee up, but tonight he climbed the whole dang thing (the only help he got was Tim making sure he didn't bust his head)!!!

We can not believe everything he is now doing, it's absolutely amazing!!!

I am officially done with school (except a teacher day tomorrow) and am working on 2 classes right now and will have 2 more at the end of the summer. After finding out Tim's work was going to cut people (not him) and then were cutting every one's pay by 5%...he luckily found a new job with a great company, eScreen. He is pretty much doing the same thing as before, but for a more stable company and more pay:) It was a hard decision, he really liked his other job, but this was a good move professionally and for our family.

Visiting our cousins, Ben and Ella (and Sam, not pictured)

My friend Brandy and her son Cooper came to see us, SO CUTE!

Who is this curly headed kid?!?

Naked baby (isn't it a rule that you have to have naked baby pics:)

This will come in handy to show to high school girlfriends!
