Been a while!

Sorry it's been a while since I last posted, but time really goes by fast! Since Halloween we have been to church, had family in town and just hung out at home. Church went well, he slept most of the time and got blessed at communion. This weekend Tim's parents, Oma (Joelyn) and Bob came and stayed with us. We all went shopping and out to dinner, again, he slept the whole time! My cousins, Eric, Cindy, Matthew (4) and Caroline (20 months) were also in town. We all went over to my Aunt Liz and Uncle Jack's house and were able to see everyone, including Sam and our twin cousins, Ella and Ben! There were kids everywhere, but it was so much fun! While we were there I also sucked it up and finally fed Nicolas somewhere other than our house and it went fine. We are planning on going Christmas shopping Friday and leaving Nicolas for the first time with my parents, I will blog on that when it happens:)

Nicolas is really starting to make more eye contact and figure out that his hand do something (he hits his toys on his play mat). He smiles a little, but still nothing to put in the baby book. Last night he had his last feeding around 9:00 and slept until 4:30!!! I was very excited to say the least! Hopefully this is going to be an ongoing trend!

Not that this is very exciting to anyone but us, but we just bought a Dyson vacuum! I've wanted one for a long time and the one we wanted was on sale, big time, at Nebraska Furniture Mart. We went and picked it up this evening and Tim took some time putting it together and figuring it out. Needless to say, it was more than worth the money! Tim vacuumed the living room (which has a shag rug) and to see what it pulled up was disgusting (remember, we have 2 dogs and 3 people shedding hair and skin daily), especially since he had just vacuumed, with our now old vacuum, yesterday!!! Is is sad that we've reached the time when we are so excited about a new vacuum???

Nicolas's play mat where he hits his toys. He's usually awake when he does that though:)
