We can't believe it's already been one month since we had Nicolas, but it has!!! We went for his 1 month check up today and he is doing GREAT! Nicolas was 6 lb 6 oz when he was born and was 5 lb 14.9 oz when we brought him home...he is now a whopping 8 lb 8.7 oz!!! That still puts him in the 20th percentile for weight, but that's ok! He was 20 inches when he was born and now he is 22, no wonder he can't stretch his legs in his newborn outfits:) His length is in the 70th percentile...he's going to be a tall one like his daddy and uncles! The doctor said he was doing great and to keep doing what we're doing! There was one bad thing about this doctor's appointment and that was that Nicolas had to get a shot...he screamed and mommy cried. I think that is the most torture that you can do to a new mom!
We couldn't be happier with the progress he is making. He's starting to turn his head to sounds and we get a smile out of him every once in a while, we'll try to get that on film soon! He loves to eat (obviously) but doesn't like to be burped (he still spits up). This is all getting easier especially since we have him on a schedule and we were referred to the best pacifiers around (MAM, thanks Kory and Mindi)!

I'm so glad that he likes the pacifiers! And that's wonderful about his weight! I told you that I thought that scale could be right! :)
All three of you just amaze me. A & T, you are wonderful parents and Nicolas you make my heart melt every time I see you. I'm so proud of you all and love each of you more than you can imagine. Mom/Bebe
Wow- he really does look a lot like Grant!! He's such a cutie and we can't wait to meet him this weekend!!
