1st Post in 2010!!!

Like I've said before, I'm not good at this blog thing...

Most of this is completely random, I'm just writing everything I can think of!

Nicolas took off walking the beginning of December and "talking" soon after that. He has a mouth full of teeth and still cutting more! He is an amazing sleeper (so nice:) for the most part, unless he is sick or cutting teeth. He points out farm animals in all of his books and if asked what a monkey says he will make grunting noises and move his hands like a monkey (although he has started doing this whenever he sees any animal on TV, including Willie the Wildcat, we'll work on that one:) He gets excited whenever there is a basketball game on TV (I knew this would happen, but saddly for me I am actually getting used to watching bball). He has his own basketball goal and dunks the ball regularly. He is showing more and more personality and we're pretty sure he's going to be a very onory boy. He gives very sly looks and definitely waits until we're not looking to do something he's not supposed to. He loves wrestling with Tim and loves being tickled. He had his first stomach bug around 15 months, and it wasn't fun. It would be nice if we never had to do it again, but I doubt that will happen! He loves staying the night with Bebe and Grandpa (we like it too, once in a while)! When we were headed there the other day we said we were going to their house and he got completely excited, it was so cute!!! He loves milk! He also loves chocolate pudding and pretty much puts his whole face in the cup when feeding it to him. On that note, he is usually a great eater, especially mac and cheese (like his mama)! He likes to do everything himself, like eating his applesauce and yogurt with a spoon, and I see him get frustrated when things don't go his way (no idea where he got that:)! Unfortunately along with the frustration is hitting or throwing things, including Tim and me. That is NOT fun!!! I can not wait until it is nice outside so we can play and take walks to get out of our house!!!

On a grown up note, Tim and I are currently getting our house ready to put on the market!!! We are actually going to try to sell it by owner, so we'll see how that goes...we cleaned out some closets this last weekend and have a lot of tubs filled and a lot to give away to Goodwill. Our goal is to have it ready and posted by the end of my spring break (March 21st)! If we can sell our house we will then move in with my parents (thanks mom and dad!!!) for 5-6 months to save money for a down payment since we lost our last down payment to a crook who took our money and ran! So we are hoping to be in a new house by the end of the year, wish us luck!!!

Tim is still enjoying his job with eScreen but I am in a not so good situation with my job...with budget cuts in the state/district they are maximizing class sizes which means they will not need as many sections at our building. I am currently on reassignment and have no idea where I will be placed next year. I am pretty confident I will still have a job, but it is very nerveracking and scary. I should know something around mid-April, so I will keep you posted.

On a better note we are looking forward to Tim's family coming to see us in a couple weeks, it's been a while!!! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and everyone will be healthy so we don't have to reschedule again!!!

I will post updated pictures soon (hopefully:)
